Quick Beauty Review: Maybelline Blushed Nudes & Master Strobing Stick

It's taken me awhile to get this post up but here it is, my two cents on The Blushed Nudes by Maybelline as well as their new Master Strobing Stick.

Unfortunately you can't buy this palette or the strobing stick here in South Africa, so I suggest that if you've got a friend travelling overseas any time soon, get your orders in! - UPDATE you can now buy both these products at Clicks stores.
I had been eyeing out the Maybelline Palettes for awhile when I finally decided to go with The Blushed Nudes; this palette looks like it was made for me, it's perfect rose gold packaging is just too cute. The case is sturdy which is great for traveling. It has 12 shades, most of which are shimmery. The shades are fairly sheer, I suppose I was hoping they would be more pigmented. But overall I'm happy with it, it's great for lighter more natural looks. It's also very affordable and great for experimenting with.

I have to say I have been blown away with the Master Strobing Stick Illuminating Highlighter; I bought this one a whim but from the moment I opened it, I was in love. The strobing sticks comes in a chubby twist up stick, they come in two shades, 100 Light Iridescent (A pearly soft pink) and 200 Medium Nude Glow (A golden champagne). The packaging can be a bit deceiving, you don't get a whole of of product, but I have found a little goes a long way. The formula is absolutely gorgeous, it's so creamy and pigmented. One swipe and you've got that perfect glow going on. It also blends perfectly into your skin. I absolutely loves this product, it's a beauty must in my books.

Have you tried either of these products? I would love to hear your thoughts!
