Catrice Prime & Fine Professional Contouring Palette - Review

Wednesday, 7 September 2016
I thought I would do a quick review on Catrice's Prime and Fine Contouring Palette. I'm a real beginner when it comes to anything involving contouring. To be honest anything to do with contouring kind of scares me, if you don't know how to apply it properly you can come out looking like you've brushed dirt all over your face. But putting all horror stories aside I have to admit that after being curious about learning to contour and reading a review on this Catrice contour kit, I was keen to test it out and do a little practicing.

For  a drugstore product it's pretty good. Not only is the packaging quite cute, it's also rather inexpensive. Most Dis-chem stores stock Catrice products so its pretty easy to get your hands on it.

I've got quite a fair skin so if you're worried about purchasing a contour kit that would be too dark for pale skin, I recommend giving this product a go. I find that it gives me the definition I'm looking for without looking over the top. Another great thing about the contour palette is that it's beginner friendly, so if you're like me and new to the world of contouring this is the palette for you. The only thing that I wasn't crazy about was the fact that the highlighter shade was a bit light for me. I didn't find that it gave my cheeks the shimmer I wanted.

Overall it's a product that is affordable, and easy to use. I find it easy to blend and it's the right shade for me. It's a contour palette that you could easily use daily.
